FOUL AND MISS RULE
Modified Foul and Miss Rule
– as adopted by the Association at the
2011 AGM will be used during the upcoming handicap snooker competition.
The new rule states:
The pre-existing Foul and
Miss Rule is suspended from all future BSAACT competitions, and is replaced by
the following:
“A Foul and a Miss can only
be called if the player can actually see the entire object ball directly, but
fails to contact it.” (All other incidents will incur a Foul)
If a modified Foul and a Miss
is called, the opponent has the option of having the balls replaced, playing
the balls as they lay, or sending in the player again.
Captains, please apply this rule to all games during the summer competition.
